Friedman v. Telesco

In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for false arrest and malicious prosecution, the defendant Grace Telesco appeals, as limited by her brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Steinhardt, J.), dated August 5, 1997, as, after a hearing to determine the validity of service of process, granted that branch of the plaintiffs motion which was to strike her affirmative defense of improper service, and denied her cross motion to dismiss the complaint for lack of in personam jurisdiction.

Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
