Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Chenango County (Sullivan, J.), entered June 16, 2000, which, inter alia, dismissed petitioner’s application, in a proceeding pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, for modification of a prior order of custody.
Petitioner’s child was born in January 1991. Shortly thereafter, she and the child’s father went to New Jersey to live with respondent, the child’s paternal grandmother.
