OPINION ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

CAMPBELL, Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction of murder. See V.T.C.A. Penal Code, See. 19.02(a)(1). The trial court assessed punishment at 99 years confinement in the Texas Department of Corrections, after a bench trial.

On direct appeal the Waco Court of Appeals in an unpublished opinion rejected appellant’s contentions that the trial court erred in admitting appellant’s written confession into evidence and that the State had failed to sustain its burden of showing that the confession was given knowingly and voluntarily.
