1Opinion of the Court
—In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for libel, the defendant appeals from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Mahon, J.), dated June 13, 2000, as denied those branches of her motion which were for summary judgment dismissing the complaint and for the imposition of a sanction.
Ordered that the order is reversed insofar as appealed from, on the law, with costs, the branch of the motion which was for summary judgment is granted, the complaint is dismissed, and the matter is remitted to the Supreme Court, Nassau County, for further proceedings in accordance herewith.
