SANBORN, Circuit Judge.

This is an appeal from a decree made on December 1, 1897, which settled the account between the owner of the equity of redemption in certain lands, and the mortgagee thereof, after the lands had been sold to satisfy the mortgage debt, under a decree rendered in the same case on April 9, 1898, at the suit of the owner of the equity, and after that sale had been confirmed, on December 28, 1896.
