On April 22, 1974, defendant was placed on two years’ probation after pleading guilty in Wayne County Circuit Court to a charge of assault with intent to rob being armed. MCLA 750.89; MSA 28.284. Subsequently, pursuant to an order to show cause, defendant was returned to Wayne County Circuit Court in order to face a charge of probation violation. It was charged that defendant, on August 19, 1974, had entered a plea of guilty in Detroit Recorder’s Court to another charge of assault with intent to rob being armed.
