The plaintiff in this suit is the assignee of United States letters patent No. 1,113,149, granted October 6, 1914, to Edwin H. Armstrong, of Yonkers, N. Y., for a wireless receiving system. The patent was adjudged valid in the case of Edwin H. Armstrong and Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co. v. De Forest Radio Telephone & Telegraph Co. (D. C.) 279 Fed. 445, affirmed in the Circuit Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, 280 Fed. 584.
