The defendants were each convicted of two counts of kidnapping, 1 two counts of felonious assault, 2 and were acquitted of felony-murder. 3

On the Court’s own motion we consolidated appellants’ separate appeals.

Oddie Morgan was robbed and held for $5,000 ransom by Tom Todd. Curtis Atkinson and Donny Young were present at the time. Later in the day defendant Monroe and other men took Edward Love and Atkinson from a poolroom, placed a blindfold over their eyes, and took them to an apartment on the third or fourth floor.
