The appellant, Sarah Tolliver, instituted this suit in the Letcher circuit court against the Louisville & Nashville Railroad Company, charging that it had unlawfully obstructed a street, road, or passway in the town of Neon, and that, as a result of such obstruction, she had been damaged by reason of the depreciation of the value of the use of tw;o houses owned by her in the town.
