OPINION OF THE COURT

HECKER, Judge:

A general court-martial composed of officer members convicted the appellant, in accordance with his pleas, of possession of child pornography, in violation of Article 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. § 934. The adjudged sentence consisted of a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 24 months, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to E-l. Pursuant to a pretrial agreement, the convening authority approved only so much of the sentence as provided for a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 20 months, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and reduction to E-l.…
