The defendant, Carl Ellis, appeals a district court judgment denying his motion to suspend child support. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.

FACTS AND PROCEDURAL HISTORY

On July 2, 1984, the State of Louisiana, through the Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of Family Security, filed a petition to establish paternity and support obligation against Mr. Ellis.
