State v. Williams
Court of Appeals of North Carolina
1Opinion of the Court
McGEE, Chief Judge.
*169 Kwanissda Williams ("Defendant") appeals her convictions on charges of resisting a law enforcement officer ("resisting") and assault inflicting serious bodily injury on a law enforcement officer ("AISBI"). Defendant contends the trial court erred by denying her pretrial motion to suppress and her motions to dismiss. We hold that the trial court erred in denying Defendant's motion to dismiss the charge of AISBI, reverse, and remand for entry of judgment on assault of a law enforcement officer inflicting physical injury, but otherwise find no error.
