Enoch Dickinson, a Florida state prisoner, filed a petition for habeas corpus in the district court challenging his convictions for burglary as an habitual offender. 28 U.S. C.A. § 2254. Below Dickinson’s signature on the petition appeared what purported to be the signature of the officer before whom the petition was sworn and subscribed.
