By Order entered March 24, 2006, the Madison Circuit Court vacated a default judgment granted in February 2004 in favor of Asset Acceptance, LLC (Asset), against Sondra Moberly, a resident of Richmond, Kentucky. Asset appealed the March 2006 Order to the Court of Appeals, but that Court, noting the longstanding rule that an order setting aside a judgment and reopening the case for trial is not final and therefore not appealable, dismissed the appeal.
