PRICE, Presiding Judge.
The appellant, Joe Mitchell, was convicted of having carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of twelve years. His punishment was fixed at thirty years in the penitentiary.
The evidence introduced on behalf of the state tended to show that on May 29, 1967, Terry Manson, age 11 years, was on her way to school, in the city of Birmingham, when defendant caught and raped her in an alley.
