| TFisher alleges he was seriously injured when the boiler, also referred to as a gas-fired furnace, in the Catahoula Parish Courthouse exploded while he was attempting to light the pilot. The boiler was over thirty years old. Fisher worked for the Police Jury as a Trustee provided by Catahoula- Parish Sheriff James Kelly (Sheriff Kelly). He performed daily maintenance at the Catahoula Parish Courthouse under the direction of the Police Jury’s representative, Ms. Patti Mizzel (Mizzel).
