P.S., the mother of T.P.S., appeals an order dismissing her petition for termination of the father's parental rights. The mother argues that the trial court erred by determining that the one-year period necessary for finding abandonment by G.O., the father, under sec. 48.415(1)(a)3, Stats., must immediately precede the filing of the petition for involuntary termination of parental rights.
