On appeal from a judgment convicting him upon his plea of guilty of manslaughter in the second degree (Penal Law § 125.15 [1]), defendant contends that County Court erred in refusing to suppress his second statement to the police, which was given eight months after defendant had given a written statement to the police following an initial interview by them.
