The plaintiff is a domestic corporation, having its principal New York office at 152 West Forty-second street, in the borough of Manhattan, New York city. The plaintiff also has an office at 730 Arch street, in the city of Philadelphia, Penn. The defendant is a foreign corporation organized under and by virtue of the laws of the State of New Jersey and is engaged in the business of a common carrier of goods by means of motor trucks operating between the city of Philadelphia, Penn., and the city of New York.
