MEMORANDUM OPINION ON THE TRUSTEE’S AMENDED OBJECTION TO DEBTOR’S EXEMPTIONS

I. INTRODUCTION
This Memorandum Opinion addresses the issue of whether under Texas law, an inherited individual retirement account (IRA) from a non-spouse may be claimed as an exemption from the bankruptcy estate. Russell Jarboe (the Debtor) claimed that his inherited IRA was exempt from the bankruptcy estate pursuant to Texas state law. Joseph M.
