On December 18, 1914, this action was commenced by the defendant in error, hereinafter called the plaintiff, in the district court of Washington county against the plaintiff in error, hereinafter called the defendant, for separate maintenance and alimony, and for the custody of the minor children of plaintiff and the defendant.
