MONROE, J.
Plaintiff brought suit against the New Orleans City Railroad Company and the New Orleans & Carrollton Railroad, Light & Power Company for the recovery of damages for personal injury alleged to have been sustained by him whilst traveling as a passenger in a car belonging to the company last named, and as a result of a collision between that car and a car belonging to the other company.
