This lawyer disciplinary proceeding against Jeffrey L. Barton (hereinafter referred to as “Mr. Barton”) was brought to this Court by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (hereinafter referred to as the “ODC”) on behalf of the Lawyer Disciplinary Board (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”). The Board’s Hearing Panel Subcommittee determined that Mr. Barton committed numerous violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct and recommended that Mr. Barton’s law license be annulled, among other recommendations that will be more fully set forth in this opinion.
