The plaintiff brought an action against the defendant, a foreign corporation, in the County Court of Nassau county, to recover for work, labor and services alleged to have been performed at the request of defendant, and in its behalf, and for the rental value of certain machinery. The complaint alleged that defendant was “ a foreign corporation, duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of Delaware, having its main office and principal place of business at New Hyde Park, Nassau County, N.
