This suit was instituted by appellee, J. H. Hammond, in the district court of Dallam county, Tex., against the appellant, the Chicago, Rock Island & Gulf Railway Company, to recover damages fox-personal injuries which he alleges he received while employed by appellant as loco-, motive hostler helper at Dalhart, Tex.
