Defendant in error Cromley as administrator of his deceased wife, recovered a judgment in the Municipal Court in an action of the fourth class against plaintiff in error Dean for $235, the amount remaining unpaid of the purchase price of certain shares of the capital stock of a certain corporation under the following instrument :
