for the Court:

¶ 1. A Hinds. County jury convicted Luke Reed of aggravated assault and being a felon in possession of a firearm. On appeal, Reed argues (1) that he was entitled to have the charges against him dismissed because his-right to a speedy trial was violated and, (2) in his pro se supplemental brief, that the trial court erred by barring from him impeaching prosecution Witness Jimmy Lewis with evidence of Lewis’s prior convictions.
