This is a petition filed in the Land Court under G. L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 240, § 14A, and c. 185, § 1 (j 1/2), by the owners of certain premises in Saugus to determine the validity and effect of the zoning by-law of Saugus as applied to the premises. The Land Court ruled that the premises were zoned, and may only be used, for residential purposes; that the business of “breeding, raising and training greyhounds . . . for racing” is not allowed under the zoning by-law; and that the zoning by-law placing the land in a residential district is valid and “of full force and effect as applied to” the…
