OPINION ON APPELLANT’S PETITION FOR DISCRETIONARY REVIEW

MILLER, Judge.

Appellant was convicted by a jury of possession of a controlled substance, to-wit, cocaine. Tex.Health & Safety Code Ann. § 481.115. The jury also sentenced appellant to twelve years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice— Institutional Division. On direct appeal, appellant raised one point of error contending the trial court erred in permitting the jury to frame questions for a witness over his objection.
