The defendant is charged with violating the Administrative Code of the City of New York, on the complaint of the Fire Department, for placing a refrigerated self-service vending machine, in a multiple dwelling, which machine offered bread, bakery products and soda for sale to the tenants only. (Italics mine.) The machine is located next to a refrigerated self-service vending machine which offered milk to said tenants, both machines being contained in an anterior corridor of the premises.
