COHEN, Judge:

A military judge, sitting as a general court-martial, convicted Appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of carnal knowledge and sodomy in violation of Articles 120 and 125, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 920 and 925. On 14 March 2000, Appellant was sentenced to confinement for 16 months, reduction to pay grade E-l, total forfeiture of pay and allowances, and a bad-conduct discharge. On 28 November 2000, the convening authority approved the sentence, suspended all confinement in excess of 15 months for a period of 6 months from the date of the action in accordance with a…
