This suit was filed by defendant in error against plaintiff in error and the Grand Court of Texas, Order of Calanthe, N. A., S. A., E., A., A. and A., a corporation duly organized under the laws of the state of Texas, and doing business in the state of Texas as a fraternal insurance company, to recover of said insurance company $300 on an insurance policy issued by it to Josie Richardson, in which James Richardson was named as beneficiary, but which was alleged to have been changed by the assured prior to her death by substituting Laura Faithful as beneficiary in lieu of James Richardson.
