STEADMAN, Associate Judge:

For years appellants Landon Dowdey and Gilbert Hahn Jr. have attempted to persuade the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (“the D.C. Circuit”) to award them additional attorneys fees for their efforts in connection with decades of litigation involving D.C. Transit. 1 Thwarted in those efforts, appellants have now brought suit against appellee, Leonard Bebchick, a rival and competing attorney, for the tort of intentional interference with prospective economic advantage. The trial court dismissed the case for failure to state a claim.…
