Plaintiffs are certain school districts within the Lewis Cass intermediate school district of Cass county and certain individual residents of Cass county. On February 3, 1967, plaintiffs brought action in Cass county circuit court to enjoin the board of education of the Lewis Cass intermediate school district from conducting a school district reorganization election scheduled to be held on February 14, 1967, pursuant to the reorganization of school districts act, PA 1964, No 289 (CL 1948, § 388.681 et seq.
