We think the Circuit Court erred in sustaining the demurrer to the plaintiff’s replication. The bonds to which the coupons in suit were attached, purport to have been made and issued by the order of the board of supervisors of Putnam County, in payment of the county’s subscription, to the capital stock of the Kankakee and Illinois River Railroad Company. They are made payable to that company or bearer, and the plaintiff* is a bond fide holder of the coupons, having paid value for them without notice of anj^ defence.
