Memorandum: Defendant appeals from a judgment convicting him, upon a jury verdict, of two counts of murder in the first degree (Penal Law § 125.27 [1] [a] [viii]; [b]) and one count of assault in the first degree (§ 120.10 [1]), arising from an incident in which he stabbed his wife and two daughters.
