Appellant in its petition claims that during the early part of February, 1931, it deposited with the defendant Bankers Trust Company, within a few days of each other, four separate checks executed by one Tipton, an automobile dealer at Maxwell and Nevada, Iowa, payable to plaintiff. The checks were immediately sent to the Maxwell State Bank for collection. Within a few days after such deposit the checks were returned unpaid.
