Our tasks on this appeal are to identify the statute of limitations that applies to a loan of money unsupported by a writing and to determine whether the action on the loan in this case was barred, as a matter of law, when the complaint was filed. The trial court granted the defendants’ motion to dismiss on the ground that the applicable statute of limitations had run.
