*1786Memorandum: Plaintiff commenced this action, individually and on behalf of his 12-year-old son, seeking damages for injuries sustained by his son when he was struck by a vehicle operated by defendant Hazel E. Sherwood. At the time of the accident, plaintiffs son was a student at a private school in defendant City of Syracuse (City) and was transported to and from school on buses owned by defendant Central New York Regional Transportation Authority, also known as Centro, Inc.
