This case comes before the Court as an appeal from the final judgment of the Tate County Chancery Court construing the will of Mrs. Lou Ella A. Lyles. Mrs. Lyles attempted to alter her will in several respects after the initial execution. The lower court held that these alterations had no effect as they were made with an intent to amend the will and the requisite statutory formalities were not observed.
