PARKS, Judge:

Richard Neal Jones, the appellant, was tried by jury for First Degree Murder under 21 O.S.1981, § 701.7(A), in Grady County District Court, Case No. CRF-83-45, before the Honorable James R. Winchester, District Judge. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and set punishment at death, finding the following three aggravating circumstances: (1) that the defendant was previously convicted of a felony involving the use or threat of violence to the person; (2) that the murder was especially heinous, atrocious or cruel; and (3) that a probability existed that the defendant would…
