Thomas Megan died August 30, 1917, at Peoria, Illinois, leaving him surviving as his only heirs-at-law, appellants, Mary A. Waters, Janie Wycoíf and John Megan, and appellees Margaret Lawler, Lizzie Schelkopf and James Megan. The evidence tends to show that twelve years prior to his death he executed three warranty deeds, by which he disposed of all his real estate. By one deed he conveyed the north half of the northeast quarter of section 28, township 11, north, range 5, east of the fourth principal meridian, to appellant John Megan; by another deed the south half of the same quarter section…
