HEANEY, Circuit Judge.

Adrian Rogers appeals his convictions by a jury of bank robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a) — (b) and 18 U.S.C. § 924(c), respectively. We affirm.

I. BACKGROUND

On November 19, 1993, Rogers was indicted by a grand jury for the robbery of the United Security Savings Bank of Davenport, Iowa and for the use of a firearm during the commission of the offense.
