In this action for foreclosure of a mortgage a decree was had by the plaintiff in November, 1915, under which the mortgaged property was sold to the plaintiff in January, 1916. In August, 1918, an order to show cause was obtained by the defendant Maria Gata Santoro, one of the children of Natale and Carlotta Stamile, hereinafter mentioned, why the judgment should not be set aside as well as the sale which had taken place under it.
