Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Chun, J.), rendered March 28, 2008, convicting him of murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree (two counts), upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contentions, the Supreme Court providently exercised its discretion in admitting into evidence photographs depicting the victim and the crime scene. The two contested photographs were neither excessively gruesome nor introduced for the sole purpose of arousing…
