RODGERS, Justice:
The appellant, Jack Cassidy, a negro, was indicted by the Grand Jury of the Second Judicial District of Jasper County, Mississippi, for the alleged murder of Orvin Pugh, a Caucasian. The trial resulted in a conviction of manslaughter, and defendant was sentenced to serve a term of twelve (12) years in the state penitentiary. The defendant has appealed to this Court and contends in this Court, that, (1) the verdict of the jury is contrary to the overwhelming weight of the evidence; (2) the verdict is contrary to the law; (3) that the trial court should have sustained a motion…
