This is an appeal from a judgment of conviction on an information charging that R. H. Siddoway, at Salt Lake county, state of Utah, on the 11th day of June, 1920, being then and there a public officer, to wit, the duly appointed, qualified, and acting State Fish and Game Commissioner of the state of Utah, and by virtue of his being such State Fish and Game Commissioner, being then and there charged with the duty of receiving and selling the furs of beavers, delivered to him as such State Fish and Game Commissioner, and of depositing the proceeds of such sales in the state fish and game fund,…
