Relator, Robert J. Lamberts, filed his complaint in this case on September 2, 2005, alleging that Defendants, Robert Stokes and his professional corporation, Robert W. Stokes DO, P.C., violated the False Claims Act (FCA), 31 U.S.C. §§ 3729-3733 by submitting invoices to Medicare for services not performed. The Government filed its Notice of Election to Intervene in Part and to Decline to Intervene in Part and its First Amended Complaint in Intervention on February 28, 2008.
