This action arises from a claim by plaintiff for indemnity against defendant, seeking recovery pursuant to sections 21 — 295 through 21 — 305 of the Property Tax Code (Code) (35 ILCS 200/21 — 295 through 21 — 305 (West 1994)). After a bench trial, the court entered judgment in favor of defendant from which this appeal is taken.
