delivered the opinion of the court.

Young being brought before a justice of the peace on a charge of being the father of a bastard child, entered with Finlay as his security into a recognizance conditioned that he should appear at the next county court, and abide by and perform the order of said court. Young appeared accordingly, and being adjudged to be the father of the child, was ordered by the court to enter into bond with good and sufficient security, in the sum of $120, for the payment of $15 per annum, for eight years.
